4.2.2. The effect of the content of SO42−/TiO2 superacid on electrical conductivity
Polyaniline is an electrically conductive material. In this investigation, SO42−/TiO2 was used to replace HCl as the doped acid when preparing the coating film. In Fig. 5, when the content of SO42−/TiO2 superacid was in the range of 0.5–1.5 g, the conductivity increased from 2.43 s/cm to 6.89 s/cm. When the content of SO42−/TiO2 superacid was raised above this value, the electrical conductivity did not change much (stable at 7.01 s/cm). When the amount of SO42−/TiO2 superacid was more than 2.0 g, the solution could not be mixed uniformly. Therefore, the optimum content of SO42−/TiO2 superacid was determined to be in the range of 1.5–2.0 g.
