With the same incubation temperature and moisture, the inoculatedE. coliO157:H7 showed different behaviors because of organic
fertilizer amendments (Figs. 1 and 2). ANOVA indicated that there
were significant differences in the parameters ofE. coliO157:H7
survival models (p, ı and td) between fertilizer-amended and
original soils (Fig. 2). Compared with original soils, thetdvalues
increased significantly in the acidic soils (P, H and N) after organic
fertilizer application. However, organic fertilizers did not significantly increase thetdvalues in alkaline soil sample (E). Among all
organic fertilizer tested, pig manure prolonged thetdvalues to a
great extent, especially in acidic soils (P, H and N) (Figs. 1 and 2).
