were the most resistant strains to pancreatin at 3
h. Nonetheless, all the strains could survive under
the stressful conditions caused by pancreatin (Fig.
4). Human origin strains showed higher resistance to
pancreatin possibly due to the high concentration of
digestive enzymes found in the human gut
