2.4.1. Preparation of standard ascorbic acid solutions
Fifty milligrams of sodium bicarbonate was dissolved in 50 ml distilled water, to this was added 50 mg of 2,6-dichloroindo-phenol sodium. The mixture was diluted to the 200 ml volume with distilled water. The final solution was then filtered using a filter paper (whatman paper) into an amber bottle and tightly stopped and stored under refrigeration
temperature.
