surrounding area.
A more typical means of allocating transfers to Argentine local governments
is through current transfers and capital transfers. Altogether, current
and capital transfers do not add up to more than 10 percent of the total revenue
of the local governments. The great majority of that percentage is made
up of current transfers.
Table 10.12 shows the funds related to the tax sharing derived from the
federal and provincial levels. Using a comprehensive notion of transfer, tax
sharing represents nearly 39 percent of total revenue for local governments.
