For customer-managed transportation, the organization shall participate in an ongoing assessment process as requested by the customer (e.g. performance, cleanliness). For supplier-managed transportation, a formal assessment process shall be in place (e.g. AIAG/Odette Global Logistics Evaluation for Carriers and LSPs) which considers carrier, LSP and/or Lead Logistics Provider (LLP) capability based on transportation mode, costs, logistics flexibility, performance, quality, etc.
