Change cost center master data following the details specified in a request form. The changes that can be updated in this step include cost center information such as name, description, department, responsible person, change validity to period or change cost center category etc. The process to change cost center master data also involves the activity to block/unblock cost center from primary or secondary posting. Block cost center will prohibits all posting to the cost center including the issuing of PR/PO.
After cost center master data is changed successfully, check if cost center is to be maintained in cost center group. If yes go to step 5 for cost center group maintenance process else check if the maintenance of allocation cycle is needed.
If plan allocation cycle maintenance is required, go to process “31-11 CCA: Maintain Plan Allocation Cycle”/“34-11 COPA: Maintain Plan Allocation Cycle” or go to process “31-21 CCA: Maintain Actual Allocation Cycle”/ “34-21 COPA: Maintain Actual Allocation Cycle” for the maintenance of CCA/COPA actual allocation cycle else inform relevant person for the progress or completeness of cost center creation.
