As I was dealing with the lower management at British Gas I can give real example for the managers and their behaviour. The different managers are using different methods, general events, scopes and factors which are well influenced with all of the management tasks. Personality and abilities of the British Gas managers are not closely connected to the failure of the success of the business. About Treehouse Company, there are positive staff initiatives like the ability to participate in management decisions and decide on working hours, but there still is a very distinct concept of management. In other words, even though the staffs are treated well, they are not completely motivated to do what is best for the company. It is unclear exactly what might be affecting this motivation, but it could be the presence of large working groups that hinder information developing or the absence of employee loyalty due to not enough profit sharing or too high of a difference between top salaries and lower staff’s salaries. I would like to describe the approaches which are leading the managerial power of British Gas which is not closely connected to the personality of the manager, but he must use them in order to reach the business goals of the company.
