Feeds should always come from reputable feed suppliers and be utilized within about three months of receipt to help maintain feed quality and sefety. Onsite, feed should be stored in a cool and dry environment, preferably in a building or enclosure that can also be kept clean and free of rodents and other pests. lf moisture, mold, or rancidity can bedetected, the feed should beimmediatelyremoved from the site and disposed of properly. lf moist or evidence of moldy feed arrives from the feed manufacturer, it should be immediately rejected.
