Arm movements involve the use of shoulder, chest , and arm altogether, which is an activity for general people in daily activities and exercises. However, people in some cases that had surgical operations, rehabilitations in terms of arm movements are required to recover the illness. The test for arm movement trajectory is originally achieved by Goniometer in which the accuracy depends on expertise. This work therefore present a wristland – based arm movements apparatus with three-dimensional trajectory real-time display for rehabilitation. The system comprises the IMU/9DOF as a real-time processing connected to the embedded arduino microcontroller. The graphic user interface is done by MATLAB. The proposed device can be used to measure the degree of arm angle in all positions.
