With the international community’s increasing attention on
climate change related to emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG), the
phenomenon of green consumption took shape so that a company’s
environmental proactivity can mean a concrete opportunity to
achieve a competitive advantage.
In this context, it is important for companies to adopt recognized
models that can guarantee the monitoring of companies’
impacts on climate change and arrange concrete actions to
reduce it.
In this study, we conducted an analysis of GHG emissions
using, as methodological references, international principles and
requirements [1,2,15,16] and adopted a life cycle approach for the
identification of the processes that should be monitored and
reported [19,20].
