The survey shows that the owners use Roomba for non-cleaning activities such as watching Roomba operating without any
purpose, naming it, ascribing a personality to it, and talking to it.
These activities are not typical domestic chores such as cooking, washing, and cleaning.
Home service robots need to be capable of adapting to changing environments or multiple applications.
