The global heat transfer coefficient calculated by Dimian y Bildea, (2008), was used (0.2KW/m2
K). Likewise,
the physical properties of the catalyst are the ones reported in the US Patent No. 5808136: a bulk density
of 0.5 kg/L, partial size of 5 mm and a porous volume of 0.8 L/kg. Thanks to this data, an empty fraction of
0.4, and a catalyst solid density of 0.833 kg/L were calculated. The operation inlet temperature for the reactor
was 150ºC.
