The enterprise technology market is a zero-sum game, where salespeople battle it out for a piece of a company’s IT budget. And with only so many dollars to go around, tech vendors sometimes go to great lengths to win over potential customers — from old-fashioned wining and dining, to procuring tickets to the Star Wars premiere, the Super Bowl or other big-name events.
