The latitude distribution of sunspots and correlations between parameters describing the distribution have been studied. The motivation for this work is some previous results (e.g., Li et al.,2003; Solanki et al., 2008), which have considered a noisy butterfly diagram dominated by small sunspots and concluded that some parameters are well correlated with each other so that the correlation can be used as a diagnostic in distinguishing between dynamo models. In this analysis we take the area of sunspots into account of the latitudinal relationship in the solar-cyclic behavior, and adopt the cycle integrated sunspot area instead of the maximum value of amplitude of solar cycles as a measure of the level of solar activity. We have first determined the latitudinal distribution of COL of sunspots. We then have computed statistical correlations between sum of sunspot area and fitting parameters of all sunspot cycles from 1878 to 2009. The summary of what we have found is
