To successfully get a deal in business with the Dutch, punctuality, relationship structure, and dialogues are very significant for Thais to be adaptable to. Being late is unacceptable for Dutch people. To approach efficiency, they are really concerned with details of works and outcomes. During the work and business meeting, their personal matters are strongly not supposed to be exposed to even the close relations, yet strongly direct conversation is preferred. Hence, in our view, time focus, structure, and communication are the very critical cultural value orientations when Thai and Dutch representatives have to work together.
