The yield of carotenoids at extraction was determined based on the analysis of the solutions of SC extracts in acetone. The carotenoids in solution were quantitatively determined according to spectrometry in the visible range of the spectrum by absorption at 450 nm. The calculation was performed on the content of βcarotene according to the Buger–Lambert–Beer law using the extinction coefficient for these solutions corresponding to 1.4 × 105 L/mol cm[16, 17].
