Most of the time the media asks for commentary on a very specific case from the judge or prosecutor who is specifically in charge. Moreover, members of the judiciary might sometimes also want to communicate on the lawsuits and trials over which they are presiding because they feel that the public must either be informed of something or because the development of a case is being misrepresented.
