Answer:

To set the Client EA risk 3% for each trade please set the Risk_Percent=3
Note that all other 3 MM options (RiskRatioServer, FixedLotSize and LotMultiplier) must be set to zero.

Can you please also advise if I want to copy exactly no matter how big the account is the lot size is always the same as the master.



Answer:

You need to set LotMultiplier=1 (on the Client EA) and EA will open all trades using the same lot size as the master account does.
Note that all other 3 MM options (RiskRatioServer, FixedLotSize and Risk_Percent) must be set to zero.



Question:

I would like to set the slave account at a half lot size from the master account, how do I do this.



Answer:

To get the lot size half the size that the master account use, you need to set:

LotMultiplier = 0.5

RiskRatioServer = 0

FixedLotSize = 0

Risk_Percent = 0



Question:

I have Client EA set up and running, all seems to be well except that I have set my LotMultiplier to 0.0015 and the ‘blue box’ reports 0.0. The trades are copied at 0.1 lot size on slave account. Have I done something wrong?



Answer:

The blue box LM display only shows up to 2 decimal places, thus your setting value of 0.0015 is displayed as 0.0.

However, the software will still calculate your position sizes according to the value 0.0015.

Based on your LM value of 0.0015 and our trade size of 12 lots, your trade size should be 0.018 lots.

I see that position sizes of 0.1 have been placed on your account which means that your broker only provides position sizes as low as 0.1 (they don’t provide trading in micro lots).

This means that your position sizes are over 5x bigger than what you want them to be.



Question:

Regarding the trade copier of one master account and unlimited slaves accounts, if the master account had different lot sizes in the trade, can the slave accounts receive a fixed lot size?



Answer:

You can do this by setting Client EA to use FixedLotSize parameter.



Question:

With the light version, am I able to set the lot size on the slave account different from the master account? For example I would like to trade 0.1 lot on my account but on the other account trade at 4 lots.



Answer:

Yes, you can change lot size with the LTC Light.

You can use FixedLotSize or LotMultiplier.

FixedLotSize - Enter the fixed lot size that should be used for each trade. If money management settings are set incorectly EA will use FixedLotSize by default. To enable this feature please set zero value on RiskRatioServer, LotMultiplier and RiskPercent.

LotMultiplier - This variable is used to set different lot size on the client side automatically. Lot size received from the master account will be multiplied by this value. Please see examples of how LotMultiplier can be used at the end of this document. To enable this feature please set zero value on RiskRatioServer, FixedLotSize and RiskPercent.
