The Thinking School Learning Nation movement was supplemented with the expansion of information
literacy, defined as “the ability to access, evaluate and use information from a variety of
sources” (Doyle, 1992, p. 2). Expected learner outcomes and skills are identified. Guidelines are
integrated into the existing school curriculum.
