Technical Feasibility
The purpose of the project is to help UTM community which are including student, staff and lecturer to share and buy a package of second hand products that they had been used. It is due to UTM community are people who come from different part of the world to study and work in UTM. Once they have completed their study and work contract they might need go back their hometown and sell the product off. So Packagelist Online System is provide an efficient and effective way for UTM community to buy and share their product.
The technical aspects for the development of the proposed project are well within the project team's capabilities to produce such a product. One of the main reasons is that our project team is on of UTM community. This help us to be familiae with functional area to understand the process of buying and sharing second hand product among UTM community very well in order to analyst the system function.
Also, UTM community usually advertises their product to buy and sell on common social network site such as Facebook and Twitter groups. We can consider that, they are technological person. So Packagelist Online System is not something new for them to learn and use. By the way, it provides them an efficient way to offer and buy product among their friend.
In addition, our project team has such good experience in developing the web development projects using the technology to be used (such as PHP, ASP and MSQL) since our project team member had developed web applications before. With the several main features of the system, small size of project and one semester time duration, our project team is capable to develop and deliver on time.
Moreover, The team project will produce web pages for the purpose of Packagelist Online System that allow UTM community to offer and shop for list of package item . These web pages will be designed using HyperText Mark-Up Language (HTML) guidelines that will enable a visitor to easily understand the meaning of the site and to draw the visitor to explore the site. This will lead by its ease of understanding using a pleasant use of colors, fonts, text and description of it s content. Whereas, the program code (behind code of each web page ) will be done using PHP language .
In addition the database will be used for this project will be created using MySQL via PHP MyAdmin that is installed with Apserv sever which will be used to develop the websites of the project. Therefore the technical aspects of the database desired are within our capabilities to produce.
In conclusion, the use of the proposed technology has little risk. As stated the team is familiar with the tools to be used. Moreover, the idea of the project is also familiar with users and it will be clearer by providing them training in using the system.
