Dear all,
In the past 7 days, the performance at MFC has improved by another step further.
Last month, the average daily output was 6,564 pieces per day. Although this was the highest average output per day in history, this was done without any stoppage for maintenance.
However, in the last 7 days, the average output has improved further to an average of 7,066 pieces per day. This is an improvement of 7.6% over and above the historical record set last month.
The higher output in the last 7 days was achievable even with a stoppage of 18 hours at Line 2 for maintenance on 5 August.
As for the C-Grade, in the past 7 days, the MTD figure is 1.79% with an improvement of 4.3% over the already record figure of 1.87% achieved last month.
These good performance is achievable and maintainable with the assistance and coordination of all 5 departments, namely Production (including MIP), Planning, Engineering, Quality & Warehouse. In the consistently high output and low rejects seen in the past 3 weeks, I can see that it is not an easy task to do but with everything working like clock works, it is possible to achieve and maintain the figures.
I also cannot deny the fact that MIP has also contributed significantly to the output of MFC. We cannot forget that MIP is also supporting the output of MFC, as the quality and quantity of LPM is also significant in making sure that MFC is able to continue operation smoothly.
As both MIP and MFC is important for the progress and growth of the company, it is important that we must continue to do what we have been doing in the past 3 weeks. As it can be clearly seen that the performance at both MIP and MFC is improving step-by-step.
I request the assistance of someone to translate this message to the Thai language and forward to those that I have missed out.
