In 27 patients with germline genotype heterozygous
for both SNPs, tumour DNA retained heterozygosity or
was lost concordantly in the two SNPs, with only one
exception (highlighted in yellow in Table 3). In the homozygous
cases, all four possible haplotype combinations
are represented in this limited group, thus
confirming the very low likelihood of linkage disequilibrium
between the SNPs.
