Dear K. Supakit, Dear Lyn,
From one of our customers I got a new request for a project.
It is about temperature measurement of a liquid during the spinning phase in a centrifuge.
The interesting part where I hope we can work together is data and power transmission between the sensor inside the spinning tube and a main unit outside the centrifuge.
Unfortunately the housing of the centrifuge is solid metal.
So at first we have to develop a concept for data acquisition, data transmission and power transmission.
Sure we could use a battery but a maintain free solution is preferred. Maybe we could even gather energy from the spinning.
So the temperature should be measured (1Hz) over a time of 10min and then be transferred to the main unit.
The first idea was some kind of RFID concept but this would be difficult as the lid of the centrifuge is made of metal.
I would be happy to hear your ideas and get your feedback if we could use this for a thesis or cooperative project.
Thanks and
Best Regards,
