This is the second-most important temple in the city. The founding date is unknown, but the main sanctuary, reconstructed in 1458, has a huge seated Buddha image and faint murals that have been partially recovered.
The architectural characteristics of the temple reflect the influence of Sukhothai arts such as the Phrathat in the Lankan style (a bell shape). The base is surrounded by sculptures of the front half of elephants.
