executed at a temperature of 400 C ± 10 C. The produced
biochar had a pH of 9.85 measured with a glass electrode
in a suspension of using a biochar-to-water ratio of 1:10;
an EC of 1.23 dS m1 measured with a glass electrode on
a 1:10 extract of biochar-to-water. The percentage of ash
content was amounted to 2.2%. The total contents of C,
H, and N in biochar samples were measured by CHN analyzer
(series II, Perkin Elmer, USA). The total contents of
C, H, N and O were 76.18%, 2.53%, 0.42% and 18.67%,
respectively.
