PEI-PU (5.93) and Celgard membranes (19.38), indicating the lower
deterioration of SiO2/PEI-PU membranes on the battery performance. Furthermore, the relatively high ionic conductivity and low
MacMullin number of the composite nanofibrous membranes can
be also attributed to their high porosities (Table 1) with fully
interconnected pore structure (Fig. 1) and better uptakes of liquid
electrolyte, offering increased ionic conduction channels, and thus
improving the rate and cycling performance of battery.
