The method described by Anuracpreeda et al. (2009b) was used to obtain WB antigens. Briefly, whole parasites (all stages of
F. gigantica and other species) were homogenized in lysis buffer (10 mM Tris–HCl, pH 7.2, 150 mM NaCl, 0.5% Triton X-100, 1 mM EDTA and 1 mM PMSF) and rotated at 4 C for 1 h. The suspensions were centrifuged at 5000g, 4 C, for 20 min to get rid of the eggs, and the supernatants were collected.
