Extraction of phenolic compounds was carried out in an ultrasonic
bath using 5 g of solid sample (SFM, LF, PF and SR). Samples
were treated for 1 h using 10mL of an ethanol:water (1:1, v/v) solution
and the process was repeated 2 times for 30 min. The extracts
were filtered and transferred quantitatively into glass bottles. The
solvent was removed under vacuum at 40 ◦C using a rotary evaporator
and the extracts were refrigerated in ethanol until further
analysis.
