In this paper, the author introduces the features of
handled device and the 3D graphics processor at first,
and then discusses the key points for 3D graphics
processor design, finally designs a test platform to test
the capability of the 3D graphics processor and give
the performance of the result. In order to reducing the
power consumption and improving speed, the author
uses the LNS, midpoint traversal triangle rasterization
algorithm and special texture storage register.
With the development of handled device, the
function of mobile 3D graphics processor will be more
complex. The power consumption is still bottleneck, so
low complexity and high performance algorithm is a
research priority.
