The Neuman's system model is relevant and can be used as a framework to develop interventions for patient who are having or are at risk of having an asthma attack. The application of this model allows nurses to clearly identity the type of interventions suitable for different stages of asthma management. Moreover, it allows flexibility when planning care for individuals with their needs as the focus. Lastly, this model has brought together many different healthcare personnel to collaborate closely with nurses to manage the patient with asthma in a more holistic manner
