During that time, for some reason that we don’t really know, ice and glaciers began to spread everywhere. The only warm places were along the equator line. Maybe somehow the earth was not able to receive as much warmth of the sun as it had before the ice age. Then, just like every other part of the changes on earth, everything had its work to do. As the ice age disappeared, enormous salt deposits, even on mountain tops were left behind everywhere and we can see them on earth even today.
