Because of the differences on management style and staff behaviors, the
communications between Sweden and China and Swedes superiors and Chinese
subordinates are facing barriers. When a Swede manager (who is intuition and strive
for consensus) want a Chinese employee’s (who is afraid of expressing his/her idea)
opinion on certain issue, how could they communicate without knowing the
expectations towards each other? These unknowing expectations are the barriers of
cross cultural communications in multinational firms.
