Dear AdWords Advertiser,
Your AdWords account (customer ID: 228-145-7180) is currently measuring cross-device conversions that have not been added to the Conversions column. Cross-device conversions measures conversions that start with an ad click on one device or browser, and ultimately convert on another. Starting on 6 September 2016, cross-device conversions will automatically be included in the main Conversions column.
What’s changing
Google The Conversions column will start to include your cross-device conversions automatically starting on 6 September 2016. You can still view your cross-device conversions separately in the “Cross-Device Conversions” column.
If you are using automated bid strategies that optimise for conversions, the inclusion of cross-device conversions can make your data more robust and complete, and help our system make more informed bidding decisions. You may notice an increase in bids and spend within your campaign budget as the system adjusts to capture more holistic data.
Next steps
If you’d like to start including cross-device conversions in your Conversions column before 6 September 2016 to evaluate the impact on performance and adjust your bidding targets, you can manually make this change in AdWords. Under Tools>Conversions, navigate to Settings and tick the box for “Include cross-device conversions”.
After 6 September 2016, this setting will no longer be available and your Conversions column will automatically include cross-device conversions.
If you have any questions about this change, please visit the Help Centre and don't hesitate to get in touch with your account team or contact us at any time.
Yours sincerely,
The Google AdWords Team
