nano copper particles in the PT matrix than micro copper particles in the PT matrix which is clearly evident from Fig. 4(b) & (c). It is also evident that in nano composites, the atoms are more closely packed and have uniform grain size. They exhibit a crystalline structure. SEM images of the micro and nanocomposite shows that there is no agglomeration of micro and nanocopper particle in the PT matrix and there is a uniform distribution of the copper particles in the PT matrix. According to the SEM images we consider that the micro and nanocopper particles have been embedded with the netlike structure built by PT chains. The elemental composition of -CuPT and n-CuPT as carried out from the EDAX confirms the presence of copper particles in the PT matrix. The improved crystallinity in the composites is due to the incorporation of micro and nano copper particles in the PT matrix.
