One lesson this week involves the boys reviewing unit 3 and writing a letter to a friend using things they've learnt so far.
Here is a copy of some of this lesson plan, for your viewing pleasure!
As always, this is subject to change at my discression but I thought parent's may like to see the grammar and vocabulary the students will be expected to try and incorporate into their letter. This lesson will be at the end of this coming week.
They should use their green wordbook and are free to use any material from unit 1, 2 or 3 but are encouraged to use vocabulary form unit 3. They could write about places they’ve been, fun things they’ve done, things they can do now, things they could and couldn’t do in the past, holidays, school life, free time, movies, other countries etc.…
Vocabulary to use if possible:
moving; shopping; ice skating; fishing; dancing; throwing snowballs; classmate; monsoon; country; suburb; rural area; urban area; shopping mall; university; hospital; factory; clinic; zoo; belongings; immigrant
They will:
Revise material covered in unit 3 and write a letter to a friend telling them about themselves and things they’ve recently done. Talk about your feelings and emotions using some of the grammar and vocabulary set out below.
