Weston employs the latest manufacturing techniques,
offers its own line-side kit boxes, with SAP/ERPcontrolled
business systems and AS9100 quality
accreditation at all of its manufacturing facilities.
The business is built on a combination of stringent
manufacturing disciplines, structured processes and
effective management techniques. Customers are
supported by either fully dedicated or product related
teams. Work packages are assessed by complexity to
establish the optimum location for manufacture - high
complexity work packages being predominantly
manufactured in the UK, complemented by the
opportunity to supply lower complexity components from
its facilities in Thailand, with support from the UK.
Weston operates on a zero borrowings basis and reinvests
its profits into new technology and plant to continually
develop its strategic core capabilities in state of the art
3, 4 and 5 axis machining.
Processes are developed by Catia V5, for which a total
of seventeen seats are located both in the UK
and Thailand, from traditional component drawings
to the latest model-based definition and designbased
technologies.
