There are a couple of reasons why this is very difficult for us and it’s only going to cause problems internally and logistically.
It is very difficult to make sure that the goods are on time at the Joosten Factory, we need to call these companies and chase the samples which frankly is not our job. Our logistic department is already very busy with the current order flow of all our customers with a factory that is already running full capacity.
Secondly the order was quite bulky with makes it difficult to put in additional 200 kg Coppens feed (I don’t know the volume of Framelco). Beside the fact that the container was full, Coppens did not have all the documents that are needed to export. If we going to “smuggle” products in our container and run the risk that we going to have problems in the port it is better NOT to do it or as an exception, but then with Products from Joosten and not from third parties.
Our logistic department wants to handle everything with great care and wants to make sure that all the containers shipped worldwide are handled according our standards.
In this way we can assure a certain standard and can negotiate the right prices in order for our customers to benefit.
