We’ve already referred to one study that said married people were likely to be thinner.
But then, when we looked into it some more, it was bit less black and white.
This study found that married men were 25 per cent more likely to be overweight. The authors contended that ‘once [people] get married they let themselves go’ – an argument that may sound familiar to singletons.
So which study is right? It’s hard to say, so we’re calling a draw.
