Conventional criteria for project review considered performance against criteria such as time, cost and quality.
A project review needs to measure performance of all aspects of the project to ensure that all knowledge gained can be made available to facilitate organisational learning.
Typical project review/audits can contain the following sections
issues related to project objectives and their achievement,
the appropriateness of the project procurement routes and forms of contracts,
the effectiveness of the project organisation structures,
the reliability of the projects programme and master schedules,
the causes and consequences of changes, or difficulties and problems,
project performance criteria against objectives related to cost, time, quality, health and safety, and recommendations for future actions
