Gilles Trehin learned how to draw at (5) years old. When he was (12) Trehin began to talk about a city named “Urville”. This city was solely in his mind, however and to help his parents understand he began to express this imaginary city with lego blocks. He realized soon after he was able to better express this city on paper. The thing that is remarkable however, is the fact that he drew these incredibly detailed pictures of this “imaginary city”. Today Trehin has over 250 detailed pictures of Urville, and has written a book about Urville’s history, geography, economy, and culture.
