As a consequence of both the understanding of social entrepreneurship and the purpose of the course, the learning context was already extended when the course description was designed. The ambition was to open the learning environment and give the students an educational platform to interact with the surrounding world and to integrate their own interests and experiences from education and daily life in the activities. The teacher invited the students to find partners to work with before course start and in the beginning of the course all students had to describe their competences based on the bird-inhand principle of effectuation.
