The goal of this study is to design and develop an interactive mobile game-based learning application in synonyms, antonyms, and homonyms for elementary school students using an android operating system. The mobile game-based application incorporated graphical design, background music and animation, and key structural elements in the development of a game to interests the elementary school students.It is expected that this game-based learning application named “Word Infection” for mobile devices can act as a supplementary tool for the improvement of students’ vocabulary through word game familiarization in synonyms, antonyms, and homonyms.
