The highest dry biomass yield was
1.1 g/L under the illumination conditions of 6000, 8000 and
10,000 lux, much more than 0.55 g/L at weak light intensities of
2000 and 4000 lux. The weak light intensity showed a strong limitation impact on cell growth. During the first six days, the growth
at the light intensity of 10,000 lux showed a relatively better performance. From the 7th day to the end of incubation, microalgae
could still maintain a satisfactory growth rate despite irradiating
with the decreased illumination of 6000 lux
