Rapid growth of central business districts in cities altered the temperature of the area due to loss of natural green spaces during the development stage. The purpose of this paper is to present a synthesis of the literature review on implication of greenery in urban city development. Influence of green space coverage in ground surface and building surface, and equivalent of planting type’s arrangement such as trees, shrubs and ground cover are the parameters in studies of reducing urban city temperature. In summary, newly indicator called green plot ratio is apply to indicate ideal amount of green ratio coverage in urban city development is reviewed.
