Agarwal et al. [4] propose a simple conceptual architecture for remote patient health monitoring, in
which a Web service serves as a communication medium between a patient’s mobile terminal and an online
database where heath records are stored. In this conceptual framework, a patient’s mobile device collects
data automatically from medical senors or, in absence of such communication, patients submit their readings
manually to the system through an interface.
