Current Porous metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) functional materials be of interest to researchers because it have great potentials in various applications such as storing and separation of gases . Metal organic framework (MOF-74) of cobalt, magnesium, nickel, and zinc metal centers had been tested for the removal of ammonia, cyanogen chloride, and sulfur dioxide from air under humid conditions.
In this research, metal organic framework (MOF) chemically fixed (attached) on could be used to transport of carbonate ions.
In this paper, the explored idea is adsorptive transport of CO2 through cellulose fiber supported solid magnesium metal ion organic framework membrane.
