Provide required resources for supervisors to maintain required service levels may include:
• authorizing and/or arranging for supplementary staff to replace learners who are attending
training events
• modifying normal workloads to factor in the absence of traditional staffing levels
• revising workplace activities to accommodate reduced staff levels
• amending trading hours
• closing sites, where appropriate
• authorizing the payment of overtime to normal staff to enable them to back-fill learners
