Isaac Asimov proposed the "three laws of robotics," which
are rules for robot behavior. As emotions become a part of
robots, the "three laws of robotics" may only exist at the most
basic level. As affective elements blend into robot actions
humans will need to pay further attention to whether robots will
have impulsive or bad behavior like humans and whether
emotions of robots will need to be restrained. Robot emotions
are an element of advanced intelligence; therefore, their
emotions need to be controllable and manageable by
intelligence, which means that a robot's EQ should be less than
