This hotel is in a large garden complex and a very relaxing environment. A good place to “chill out”. The food is good and there is a choice of restaurants and they are not expensive. It is just as well as there is no-where to go outside the complex. I get the impression this place gets a lot of day visitors who come for trip to see the craft exhibits, culture show and have a meal. I have to say that this is done very well indeed and is a great way to spend a morning or afternoon. Trained elephants may offend some but they are well housed and looked after. Other animals are there as well as a range of craft demonstrations in which you can join in. There is also an organic farm to visit across the river. They use their own green and organic products for cleaning and maintenance and have eliminated the use of chemicals. They also have their own line of organic beauty products which they sell on site (very affordable) and are included as shampoos and fragrant lemongrass soaps in your room. The show is very good indeed and is a “must see”. There's a Thai Wedding house next to the lake. Thai house in the ground has 250 seat for Wedding Party .
It is not a five star palace but it doesn't pretend to be. It is just a very good comfortable hotel and it was a pleasure to stay there.
